A straight 1 throughout! In the previous 3 visits always courteous staff and generous portions in good quality with a good menu. In addition, the rustic ambience and the cozy atmosphere.

Very good food and very attentive and extremely nice service who is not intrusive. Ambience and atmosphere relaxed. Attention is paid to compliance with the current requirements.

The dishes are delicious. The portions are large. There is a wide selection of typical Swabian dishes.

Excellent local swabian cusine & nice location 👍 Took some business partners to Schwedenscheuer and they loved it. We ordered some swabian dishes to share and steaks afterwards (Zwiebelrostbraten) - very tasty.

Very traditional looking place that makes you feel like you went back in time. The food is great, the service is fast and the personnel is welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Traditional Swabian food and drinks served in a fantastic, 400 year old house. The Rostbraten (local steak specialty) is a must combined with Chiraz red wine. Enjoy!

Nice tavern in the heart of Echterdingen. The food was good and rich, the service staff very nice, another service has us the recommendation of the day presented and with the location we were also satisfied. The decor of the tavern is rustic, which fits very well with the building, only the toilets are very old and maybe a bit in need of renovation. A clear recommendation.

Really nice food, seasonal specialties are very tasty. Can get very busy when there are commercial expos on the nearby messe, so for more than two people it's worthwhile to make a booking. A good variety of local beers are available both on tap and bottled. Very friendly and accommodating staff make their best even at very busy times.

Great food, very rustic atmosphere!

The restaurant is rustic and has an old world air to it like many German restaurants do. The service was ok. The dish I got wasn't very good hence the rating but I wouldn't let that put you off. I don't think I would go back but I wouldn't be against it if someone else wanted to go.

Please always plan to get your booking ahead. I visited on a crowded place and I learnt we were lucky to find a table at the top floor even on a cold Wednesday evening. Didn't get to experience the place much, but it was lively. Xmas was near and the whole building had a Xmas theme that was warm and inviting

A charming place, decorated in the style of a typical old German house in that region. The restaurant occupies 2 floors and it is always advisable to book because it fills up fast. They have emblematic dishes of Germany, all exquisite and generous in quantity and accompaniments. Of course, the beer is also very good. The acceptable price for good quality and service.
